conpal LAN Crypt EAP Test-Files
========================

This package contains all files that help make testing the conpal LAN Crypt mobile app as simple as possible. 
On the one hand those are the policy and related user private key, but also some test-files that
have been encrypted with keys from the policy. This set of files allows for a quick start.

INSTALLATION
------------
1) Install app
Download App from App-Store.

2) Launch app
Launch the app and follow the steps in the wizard

3) Import user policy
Select the policy file to be used for the tests. A sample policy is included in the demopackage. However, any custom
conpal LAN Crypt policy from an existing installation can be used as well.
Sample Policy:	lcdemo.xml.bz2

4) Import user P12
Select the corresponding user P12 that matches the user policy. A sample P12 is included in the demopackage. 
If a custom policy has been imported in the previous step, the corresponding P12 has to be selected. 
Upon import, the app will prompt for the password to unlock the key-file.
Sample Keyfile:	lcdemo_PWis1212.p12
Password:	1212

5) Done!

Configuration of the app has been completed and the app is now ready to use.

OPERATION
---------
Once the policy & key have been imported, the app is ready to use. There are basically two ways to access 
encrypted files - from within the conpal LAN Crypt app or from external via the 'Open with' functionality.

1) conpal LAN Crypt App
In the conpal LAN Crypt app select 'Open File' from the home screen. This opens a file browser window. In the 
browser window browse to a file and tap to open. Encrypted files will be decrypted and provided to the 
productivity app. 

2) File Browser App
In the file browser windows app, navigate to a file and open the context menu. In the context menu 
select 'Open with' and then select the conpal LAN Crypt app. The file will be decrypted by the conpal LAN Crypt app 
and handed over to the productivity app for displaying. 

Note: 
On iOS/iPadOS most of the files can be displayed by the built-in viewer and thus no external/productivity 
app needs to be launched for viewing files.

3) File in productivity app
It is not possible to open encrypted files directly from within the productivity app.
The following files are included in the EAP package for testing purposes:
